Batik

This is my batik project. The only thing I disliked about the process was when  the dye started to blend after we started to put it on. But other then that it was a good experience.

Forshortening

Another unfinished piece. This one is the foreshortening piece we had to do. I liked it but I started it late so I wasn't able to finish. But again it looks good as it is.

Precisionism

This is my precisionism piece. As you can see, it wasn't done. It looks cool and I wish I was able to finish it. I like it, but didn't have time to finish it. But it looks great regardless.

Horsey

I made the horse in the classroom in the style of Peter Max. I like the background a lot but I needed more slow quality controlled lines in the background or in the horse. But overall I like my piece.

Golden Composition

This is my golden composition. It took a while just to make the background. It also took a while to make sure I didn't mess up a few image transfers. I like it, but I wish I fixed up some things.

2nd Semester

Anything after this post is 2nd Semester Art 3 2-D artwork.

Pottery

If you guys didn't see it i made a pot on the pottery wheel. I liked the experience and it was fun. The only thing that i was sad about is that it kept falling over. Also it broke when we came back from break.

BOOK

This was my book. I got the idea looking on websites for ideas and an artist was doing this and I loved it. He found old books and cut out the pictures, layering them and making a big collage. I wanted to accept that challenge. I loved doing this project.

Paper Dragon

This was my first independent piece. I found my artist while looking and I liked her style. The reason i chose to do a dragon is because she had a lot of Asian influences. The only thing I didn't like about this piece is that I added the scales and didn't build off of that.

Watercolor Portraits

This was my experimental watercolor portrait. I had the idea in my head when Mr. Brant said we would be doing this. I fell like I didn't finish since the light reflection isn't as I wanted it. Overall it was fun.
